भारत में Delta Plus वैरिएंट के 48 मामले, स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा- वैरिएंट पर कारगर हैं Covidshield और Covaxin

  हमारे यहां इनमें से 4 वैरिएंट पाए गए हैं जिन्हें डब्ल्यूएचओ ने अल्फा, बीटा, गामा और डेल्टा कहा है. डेल्टा वह है जिसे भारत में पहचाना गया था.राष्ट्रीय रोग नियंत्रण केंद्र (एनसीडीसी) के निदेशक डॉ एसके सिंह ने बताया कि अभी तक पूरे देश भर में डेल्टा प्लस के 48 मामले सामने आए हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि 8 राज्यों को ज्यादा सावधान रहने की जरूरत है. उन्होंने कहा, “8 राज्य महत्वपूर्ण हैं जहां हमें चिंता पैदा करने वाले वैरिएंट (डेल्टा वैरिएंट) के 50% से अधिक मिले हैं. ये राज्य हैं आंध्र प्रदेश, दिल्ली, हरियाणा, केरल, महाराष्ट्र, पंजाब, तेलंगाना और पश्चिम बंगाल.” मंत्रालय ने कहा कि अबतक (जीनोम) अनुक्रमण किये गये 45000 नमूनों में से कोविड के डेल्टा प्लस स्वरूप के 48 मामले सामने आये और उनमें से सबसे अधिक 20 महाराष्ट्र के हैं. सरकार ने कहा कि तमिलनाडु में डेल्टा प्लस के नौ मामले सामने आए हैं जबकि मध्य प्रदेश में सात, केरल में तीन, पंजाब और गुजरात में दो-दो तथा आंध्र प्रदेश, ओडिशा, राजस्थान, जम्मू और कर्नाटक में एक-एक मामले सामने आए हैं केंद्र सरकार ने कहा कि भारत में कोविड-19 के 90 फीसदी मामले बी.1.617.
